Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18 with eaves raised and remodelling
in early C19; late C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Mainly red
brick on sandstone plinth but partly timber framed with purple brick
infill to rear; graded slate roof. 2 storeys. 4 windows; 16-paned
glazing bar sashes with slightly cambered gauged heads except for narrow
sash window over right doorway. Entrances to far left and in
third bay from left, former with C20 half-glazed door
and latter with 6-panel door (top panels now glazed) in plain pilastered
doorcase with panelled reveals. Red brick ridge stack between first
and second windows from left and external end stack to right. Interior.
Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (October 1986) but likely
to be of interest. Late C19 yellow brick additions to rear and C20
