Barn. C17 with later additions and alterations. Weatherboarded timber
frame on uncoursed limestone rubble plinth, graded slate roof. 2 levels;
scattered eaves hatches and stable doors on each side with rubblestone
and weatherboarded gabled projection (probably former horse engine house)
roughly to centre of main section on west. Interior: framing: square
panels and long straight tension braces with weatherboarded partitions;
double-purlin roof in 8 or 9 bays with mixture of Queen-strut trusses
and raking struts from tie beams supporting principal rafters, northern
2 bays with slightly lower roof pitch being later addition.
