Cottage and attached cart shed. Malthouse Cottage is C17/C18 with C20
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble. Cement tile roof; rendered brick end
stacks and stone ridge stack with brick shaft. L-plan with wing on left to rear.
One storey and attic; 3-window range. 3-light top-hung windows and casements
with horizontal glazing bars. Ground floor has painted wood lintels. Dormers.
Entrance in left return side has C20 door in recessed porch. Interior not
inspected. Cart shed is C18. Limestone rubble. Roof, of cement tiles to road and
corrugated asbestos to yard, is hipped to right. 5 bays. Fifth bay is enclosed.
Butt purlin roof. Included for group value.
