Barn and stables. Early C18, stables probably slightly later. Limestone rubble
with squared ashlar quoins and some limestone-ashlar dressings; Welsh-slate and
Stonesfield-slate roofs. 6-bay barn plus 3-bay stables. Barn has full-height
opposed doors to left of centre and has slit ventilation openings. 2 bays to
left of doors have, to rear, segmental-arched cart entrances with ashlar
dressings, probably a later insertion. Stable to right of barn is lower and has
a stable door between 2 small openings plus a loft door to extreme left; gabled
projection to rear. Rear slope of barn roof has stone slates. Interior: barn
roof has queen-strut trusses with 2 rows of butt purlins. Cart-shed bays are
separated by an inserted stone wall with loft door.
