House. Mid C18. Grey brick with red brick dressings; old plain-tile roof hipped
to right; brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 6-panel door to
centre with painted wood Doric pilasters supporting triangular pediment. 12-pane
unhorned sashes to all openings. Brick band between ground and first floor, and
beneath parapetted eaves. 3 hipped dormers. Interior not inspected. Former house
of the late Dame Agatha Christie, the crime novelist.
