Cottage row. Late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble and timber lintels; thatched
roof with brick stacks. Single unit cottage between 2-unit plan cottages. One
storey plus attics. No.27 to left has a small 2-light casement to left and 2
small 2-light dormers. Entrance in gable wall. No.29, now 3 units, has door to
right of centre between large C20 casements with further casement to left.
Dormer to left has been enlarged but 2 old 2-light dormers survive. Roof to row
has gable stacks and ridge stack on a stone base. Single-storey C20 front
extension to extreme left of No.29 and to right gable wall. Interior: No.29 has
large fireplace beside gable entry.
