Late C19. Red brick and stone. Flamboyant Gothic design, irregular plan.
1 and 1 1/2 storeys eastern end forms advanced sexagonal section, windows
Perpendicular Gothic style with stone tracery. Elaborate pierced stone
battlements with finials and gargoyles above. Pyramidal tiled roof.
Casements in main section incorporate oriel windows above Tudor arched
door. Elaborate banded chimneys.

The buildings of the Friar Park estate form a group. In adittion, the
lower lodge, entrance walls, gates and piers form a group with Ancastle
Cottage opposite.
