BANBURY MARKET PLACE SP4540NE (South side) 7/118 Nos.11, 11A (Carr Leport) and 09/04/52 No.11B (Rebel Jeans) GV II

House, now offices and shops. c.1660, restored C19. Timber framed. Stucco front. Slate roof. Brick end stacks. Stone copings. 3 storeys; 5-window range. C20 shop front to right. Shop front to left has wooden cased surrounds to windows and doorways. First floor has five 5-light wooden oriel windows linked by arched recesses. Second floor has five similar 4-light wooden mullioned oriel windows on brackets. 5 hipped roof dormers. Moulded wooden eaves cornice with decorated floor pendants. Interior: stop-chamfered beam in office to right on ground floor. Altered staircases. Butt-purlin roof. (Buildings of England: Oxfordshire, 1974, p.439; V.C.H.: Oxfordshire, Vol.X, pp.30-32).
