attached byre

Farmhouse and attached byre. C18, windows altered, walls raised and extended
to rear, early C19. House ashlar, byre roughly squared stone. House has stone
slates, byre Welsh slate and stone slabs. House 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical.
Very slight chamfer to door and window surrounds. C20 door and lower right window.
Other windows 16-pane sashes. Gabled roof with flat coping and 2 gable stacks,
the right one stone,the left rendered and renewed. Attached single-storey byre
to left. One 8- and one 6-pane window. Blocked openings to rear have old wood
lintels. Lower one-bay store to left has stone slab roof.

Interior of byre has C18 roof with principal-rafter trusses with collars.
