NU 20 NW WARKWORTH NORTHFIELD

Farmhouse

GV II

House, early C19. Squared stone; Welsh slate roof with one stack rebuilt in
brick. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door with Percy
crescent above, within segmental-arched recess. 4-pane sash windows with
slightly-projecting sills. Eaves band. Coped gables on footstones; rendered
left end stack, rebuilt right end stack. Left return shows 2-bay rear wing
with 4-pane sash and blind window on ground floor and two 12-pane sashes
above; all sashes renewed. Coped left end gable with stepped-and-corniced
stack.

C20 timber front porch, rendered rear porch and altered outbuildings are not
of special interest.
