House. C17. Coursed ironstone rubble banded with limestone, squared ironstone
quoins. Slate roof, central stone stack. L-plan. 2 storeys, attic and cellar, 2
bays. 3-light stone mullioned window to cellar in left bay. Two 3-light stone
mullioned windows with square hood on ground floor, 2-light stone mullioned
windows without hoods on first floor. Coped gable ends with kneelers. 3-light
stone mullioned windows with square hoods to ground and first floor on left
side. Similar 2-light window to attic. Entrance at rear has wood lintel and
6-panel double door. 2-light stone mullioned window with square hood to right.
3-light casement window in right bay on first floor, one-light window to left.
C20 ironstone extension at rear, 2 storeys, one bay. Main entrance on side with
wood lintel and C20 six-panel door. Interior: Open fireplace with bread oven and
stone fireplace with 4-centred arch and cut spandrels in ground floor room. Set
of stop-chamfered beams. C19/C20 staircase.
