Nos.3, 7 and 9
GV II
3 houses. Early C18 origins, mainly late C18 and early C19. Squared coursed
limestone with Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs. Each originally 2-unit plan,
together comprising an irregular L-shape range. 2 storeys. Nos.3 and 7 are each
2-window range. No.3 has casement windows with glazing bars at first floor, sash
window to ground floor left and C20 casement to ground floor right. All under
gauged stone heads. Central 6-panel door, under similar head, has evidence of
blocked door to right. No.7 has sash windows, with glazing bars, under stone
lintels with keyblocks. Central 4-panel door is under similar lintel. Welsh
slate roofs and brick stacks at ridge and end. Evidence of 2 builds between
facades of Nos.3 and 7. No.9 attached at right angles to rear of No.7 is a
2-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. Central plank door also
under wood lintel. Collyweston slate roof and brick stacks at ends. Interiors
not inspected but noted as having spine beams. Included for group value.
