Barn and byre, dated 1763 partially rebuilt in the C19. Red brick with pantile
roof. 3 stead barn with gabled extension to south and linked at right angles
to north, a truncated barn. Central full height barn doors to east and opening
to west. Line of previous roof in south gable which has brick kneelers, plat-
band, tie irons and date block. Inserted windows in north gable. Shortened
north range has continuous north outshut and inserted doors in west gable
wall. Weatherboarded gable above doors. Parapet gables with brick kneelers
and owl holes. C19 lO bay butt purlin roof with timber knees to tie beams.
Blocked vent slots visible inside. Date block on south gable inscribed J.M.
1763. Included for group value.
