GV II


House. Early C19. Brick and flint. Slate and pantile roofs.
Rectangular on plan with C19 range to right, C19 range to left and later
additions to rear. Main range has facade of 3 bays, 2 storeys. Sashes
with glazing bars and horns under rubbed brick flat arches. Central doorcase
with pediment; panelled reveals. Door of 6 panels, top 2 glazed. Parapet
gables; internal gable end stacks, slate roof. To the right a 2 storey
wing with 2 plank doors each with a fanlight, now blocked, with radiating
glazing bars. One semi-circular window with glazing bars. To first floor
2 sashes with glazing bars and horns under renewed brick arches. Right
hand wall of flint. Hipped slate roof. To left of main range a single bay,
2 storey wing with C19 casements, that to ground floor under segmental arch,
wooden lintel to upper. Parapet gable; pantiled roof. Included for group
value.
