Farmhouse, now house. c1720, enlarged and rebuilt c1790. Brick; roof of pantiles and
black-glazed pantiles to facade. 2 storeys. South front is 5-window range. Central half-glazed
door under 7-vaned fanlight and within reeded surround. Flat porch hood on pair of timber
columns. Fenestration of 6/6 unhorned sashes with gauged skewback arches. Twin span roof
with internal gable-end stacks. East return with conservatory added in 1960s served by 2 French
doors from house of similar date. Gable-line of earlier single-storey house remains. 2 first-floor
casements. Full-height outshut to rear of c1850: one 6/6 homed sash to each floor. West return
with 2 rainwater heads with initials: J $. INTERIOR: Stick-baluster staircase. 6-panelled doors
throughout and windows with shutters, all with reeded architraves on ground floor. First-floor
south rooms form twin bedroom suite with dressing room between. Roofs of principals, collars
and 2 tiers of taper-tenoned butt purlins.
