G.V. II
Estate workers' cottages. Mid C19. Gault brick with hipped slate roof. Two
storeys, 'H' shaped plan. Sash windows with glazing bars: slightly projecting
window surrounds of rendered brick. Some window openings with flat gauged arches.
Rusticated brick quoins, Cross wings of 'H' expressed by slight break in wall and
roof lines. Two plain brick chimney stacks on ridge line. External chimney stacks
front and rear with moulded stone caps on paired console brackets. Slated porches
on arch-braced timber supports.
