Farmhouse. Mid C17 with mid C19 alterations. Timber frame, mostly covered
in roughcast; tiled roof; large centre ridge stack. Two storeys and gable
lit attic; 3-window front, giving the appearance of hall and cross wings
but flush-fronted with a continuous range behind the twin-gabled front,
these gables are canted at eaves level, with small pane, diamond shaped
windows in apices; 3-, 2-, 3-light casement windows below grouped towards
centre; central hooded entrance with 6-panel door. Exposed timber frame
to two gables: herringbone pattern to gable, over small framing and blind
first floor windows. Further, probably mid C19 wing to rear.
