Milepost. Mid to late C19. Cast iron. Triangular section with chamfered top. Top face: "COTTON". Left hand face: "FROGHALL 2 ½ /CHEADLE 5 ½ / HANLEY 12 / STOKE 13 / NEWCASTLE 14 ½". Right hand face: "ASHBOURNE 9 ¼".
