House, at one time the Royal Oak public house. Probably C17. Timber framed
and plastered with applied timbers to the facade and right gable end.
Thatched roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows, various casements, those to the ground
floor quite large, with 12 or 16 panes. A small upper window with old
diamond-leaded glass. Lobby entry: plastered lean-to porch with slated roof;
mid C20 boarded and battened door. Internal stack with small C19 shaft. C20
lean-to garage to left. Interior not examined.
