has a plain stone surround, is a stone hood carried on fluted
brackets. The door is of 6 flush panels and has an overlight.
INTERIOR: the entrance hall has a wall of re-used C17

raised and fielded panels. The rear wing has large re-used
chamfered main ceiling joists, and a shouldered stone

balusters, and half-balusters.
Some of the 1st-floor rooms have oak floorboards. Also at

a similar window in the west gable wall, and some panelling of
C17 type. The principals are of hardwood and part of a reed
and plaster ceiling is visible.
