x 3 bays.
Facade to Kirkstall Road: left gabled bay projects, entrance

mullion and transom frame and having fine etched glass with
'BAR' and 'RISING SUN' in decorated panels. Similar window to
centre bay, large C20 frame in window (former cart access to
rear yard) far right. First floor: 5, 2, 2 former sash
windows, modern frames, in chamfered brick recessed panels;
gable has paired window in stone shouldered architrave,
flanking pilasters rise to moulded gable coping with ball
finials; paired stone eaves brackets to right bays.
Left return: bays have 2, 3, 2 first-floor windows; entrance
left of centre, 2 large bar windows right, former sashes left.
Eaves brackets, chimney stack flanked by attic windows right
of centre.
INTERIOR: mosaic floors with 'Rising Sun' and motif to

A good example of a smaller Victorian public house, built here
to serve the population of the housing built around 1887-90.
