Piers and walls to churchyard of
St Michael, Caterhani Guards Depot

GV II

Piers and walls. 1886, by William Butterfield. Banded brick, flint and ashlar. A pair of round gate piers of flint and ashlar with conical caps, with walls each side of brick and flint with engineering brick coping extending approximately 40 metres to the NW and 60 metres to the NE, and enclosing the churchyard to the N. The gateway forms the approach to the Chapel of St Michael the Archangel (qv).
