Shop and workshop, formerly in part living accommodation.
c1800. English garden wall bond brown brick with grey slate
roof.
3 storeys plus attic. The west end to Northgate Street has a
modest shopfront with door of 2 glazed panels above 2 flush
panels and a 1-pane shop window above a panelled stall-riser;
3 pilasters; the second storey has a flush 12-pane sash and a
casement of two 1-pane lights; the third storey has 3 similar
casements, and one to the attic in the gable.
The face to the City Wall, at second storey level, has a shop
window of 3 rows of 5 panes with timber sill and pilaster
case; stone step to a door of 2 glazed panels above 2 flush
panels; hood; a probably inserted door of 2 glazed panels
above 2 flush panels. The third storey has 2 small-pane sashes
and a small fixed light.
INTERIORS have no visible features of special interest.
