1861 enlarged 1887 and 1898 with school master's house. Rusticated coursed stone
with plinth. Steeply pitched roof with banded fishscale and plain slates. 2 steeply
pitched gables containing large 4 light windows, of which centre 2 tall lights
have cusped arches, mullions and transom. Trefoil blank above each window. South
side has large doors under modern canopy below window. Between these 2 gables
are 2 small gabled dormers containing Gothic windows which break through eaves.
Centre low buttress. To east schoolhouse which terminates range. Half hipped
roof with western stone chimney. 2 storeys, 2 windows. 2 light Gothic arched,
unbarred sashes 1st floor, flattened cusped arches to similar ground floor windows.
Corner buttress. To east, recessed round arched stone porch.
