Farmhouse, c.1700; altered. Handmade brick on stone plinth, slate roof.
Rectangular 3-bay plan, with attached stair turret at rear, lean-to addition
at right-hand end. Two storeys; 2-course brick band; 3 windows on each
floor, patched brickwork in place of former doorway between 2nd and 3rd
windows, inserted doorway between 1st and 2nd windows (breaking the band);
centre window at ground floor is 4 lights with small panes, others are
segmental-headed, 2-lights with glazing bars, and those above all 3 lights
with glazing bars: all these are sliding sashes. Rear has inter alia a
projecting stair turret with parallel-ridge roof. Ridge chimney and gable
chimneys. Interior altered but has one ovolo-moulded beam.
