Barn. C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded; roofs covered in corrugated
asbestos and corrugated iron. 7 bays. A single aisle along the north-west
(street) frontage, and a later lean-to along the rear. Interior framing with
bisected studs and straight primary braces; no middle rail. Trusses with
straight braces to tie beams and arcade plate, the former mainly replaced by
bolted knees. The roof, with one row of clasped purlins, principal rafters
and a ridge-piece, includes a number of reused rafters, some smoke-blackened.
A single porch entry on the front, with hipped roof and red brick sides.
