House, now two houses. Late C16/early C17 with later alterations. Roughcast and colour-washed timber-frame on high brick plinth. Plain tile roof with ridge stacks. Lobby-entry plan to No 5 retaining service room and rear door elements from cross-passage plan. 2 storeys. 5-window range of mainly 2-light casements. No 3 has 6-panel door with flat hood and a 4/8 sash either side. No 5 has part- glazed door to left and 2 2-light casements to centre and right. INTERIOR of No 5 has tall panel framing with jowled posts. Service rooms partition survives. Winder stair in front of partly reconstructed stack and C20 fireplace. Clasped-purlin roof structure with cranked windbraces. Interior of No 3 not inspected. No 5 has an interesting early lobby-entry plan, the parlour element of which may possibly survive in No 3. Nos 1 to 5 (odd) form a group.
