Railing and entrance piers . Circa 1912. Brick piers with stone dressings, iron
railings and gates approximately 80 feet long. 2 pairs of square brick piers with
panelled sides and stone coping above 10 feet high and 10 feet apart to ends. Iron
side gates between piers c 9 feet high with decorative roundel band and fillet and
oval band to base. Inner main gate piers approximately 15 feet high with stone
band and projecting cornice above, lo feet from the side piers, linking railings
between. Main gate piers with lower flanking piers and crowning lantern above.
Segmental arched gates to centre hung from iron standards with spiral finials. Oval
cartouche and shield to centre of each gate.
