SU 95NW PIRBRIGHT C.P. STANLEY HILL

1/68 Walls to Furze Hill Place

GV II

Walls and gates. Dated 1900 in gable. Red brick with stone coping, wooden gates,
running downhill, circa 5 feet high to right, 12 feet high to left, approximately
200 feet long. Square pier to end right. Gabled, arched and panelled gate in
moulded surround to right, between 2 square piers circa 10feet high with stone
coping and crowning spheres. 2 rectangular openings under triangular pediment to
left of centre of wall adjacent to second, panelled, gate under broken pediment,
flanked by two square piers crowned by spheres. Wall to left articulated by piers with
sphere decoration and dentilled to top.
