House with Post Office attached to front left. C16 to rear right with
early C20 extensions to left projecting to street. Timber framed to rear,
clad in whitewashed brick below, roughcast cladding above. Red brick below
with roughcast above on extension to left, tile hung on first floor gable
end facing street. C20 plain tiled roofs, half-hipped to left. L shaped
plan. One storey and attic under one open gabled dormer to right. End stack
to rear right, further stacks to rear. One first floor casement window to
right with two ground floor casements below. One cambered head first floor
leaded window on right hand return front of wing. One 4-light casement on
first floor of gabled end to left with two bowed glazing bar shop windows
below flanking central glazed shop door. Further door to centre set back
in projecting break in re-entrant angle between shop and house.
Interior: framing exposed on old range to rear. 2 framed bays, ceiling
frames exposed with partition wall between. Deep brick fireplace.
