Rockwork Grotto. Circa 1907 by James Pulham and Son. Pulhamite stone, i.e. clinker
with Portland cement poured over it and sandstone blocks with earth covering. Kidney-
shaped recess with stepped flanking walls and irregular arched entrance. One of a
number of garden features laid out in the grounds of Merrow Grange.
Merrow Grange gardens included in Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic
Interest in England (Part 40 - Surrey) as Grade II.
