Houses, now shops below, offices above. Front circa 1800 with later C19 canted bay,
on C17 buildings to rear. Timber framed core with orange/red brick cladding to
left, brown brick to right. Plain tiled roofs obscured by stone-coped parapets.
Three storeys with cross ridge stacks to left. Two bays across with canted bay to
left on first and second floors with pilaster mullions, roundel decorated, on both
floors. Sash fenestration with diagonal boarding between the windows. One
original 16-pane glazing-bar sash window on each floor to right with old glass
and gauged brick heads over. Plate glass shop fronts below with canted bay to
left of centre. Flat hood over on scrolled brackets and three-quarter glazed and
panelled door to right.
