BUCKLAND C.P. OLD REIGATE ROAD TQ 25SW 4/58 Temple in Grounds 11/11/66 of Broome Park, Betchworth II
Folly temple. Early C19 front on C18 late palladian temple. Brick, plastered inside,with original domed roof now collapsed. Oval plan with later Doric portico of 4 columns supporting pediment to front. Pediment now badly decayed, some remnant of slates survive and triglyph frieze. Late Palladian plasterwork inside with fielded panels. Black rusticated quoins to angles of entrance wall and keystoned door. Derelict at time of resurvey.
