House. Early C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco dressings;
roof parapeted, the parapet rebuilt in late C19.
3 storeys and attic over basement. C19 or early C20 shop front
to corner and one bay of return; round-arched entrance to
rear. Upper-floor windows flat-arched; one-window range and
5-window range to return; 1st-floor windows to main elevation
and 1st bay of the return with aedicule surmounted by a
pediment; eared architrave to 2nd-floor windows in these
ranges. The main range and first range of return articulated
by a pair of thin, 2-storey pilasters with entablature, the
frieze of which ornamented with shields; entablature
continuous to curved and rebated corner range. Brick dentil
cornice to parapet. Sashes of an authentic design to
upper-floor windows.
