2 houses. Early C19. Front walls of brick in Flemish bond.
Roofs parapeted.
Each has 3 storeys and 2 windows, but their dimensions are
different, No.207 being considerably broader than its
companion. The ground-floor of No.207 has late C19 or early
C20 shop front of little architectural distinction. The
round-arched entrance to No.209 is intact, window to left has
been widened. Round-arched windows to 1st floor of both, the
arches turned in soft stock brick subordered. Flat-arched
windows with gauged brick lintels to 2nd floor of both, the
6x6 sashes to No.207 to an authentic pattern. Parapets of both
rebuilt. Stack to party wall.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Despite later alterations, this pair completes a fine group of
broadly contemporary terraced houses consisting of Nos 185-205
& 211-215 (odd) (qqv).
