6 terraced houses. Early C19, altered. Brick and stucco. Nos
36-42 with rusticated ground floors; Nos 44-48 with stucco
nearly all stripped off and brickwork exposed. 4 storeys and
basements. 2 windows each. Round-arched doorways (Nos 44-48
with cornice-heads), fanlights (Nos 44 & 46 patterned), and
panelled doors. Recessed sash windows, some with glazing bars.
Nos 36-42 with plain bands at 1st floor and 3rd floor sill
levels. Cast-iron balconies to 1st floor windows, except Nos
40 & 46 with plain C20 bar guards. Parapets. Nos 36 & 38 with
cornice and blocking course. INTERIORS: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with
tasselled spearhead finials (Nos 36-42) and urn finials (Nos
44-48).
