War memorial. 1921 to the fallen of Lincoln's Inn. Portland
stone. High centrepiece with projecting wings, curved and
incorporating seats, reached via three steps which are an
integral part of the memorial. The wings bear plaques
commemorating those members of Lincoln's Inn who gave their
lives in 1914-18; the battered stone cenotaph in the centre is
inscribed 'Pro Patria Sangvienem Largitis' and carries plaques
to the fallen of the 1939-45 war.
