Farmhouse, now house. Early C19 with later C19 and C20
alterations and additions. Red brick in Flemish bond. Welsh
slate roof. Rectangular on plan: 2-room, central entrance-hall
south front and later additions to rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range; symmetrical. C20 6-pane
glazed door beneath original 3-pane overlight in chamfered
brick reveal beneath wedge lintel. Flat-roofed ground-floor
canted bay windows with sashes with glazing bars in pilastered
surrounds. 6/6 recessed first-floor sashes in chamfered brick
reveals beneath lintels. Stepped brick eaves. Raised
brick-coped gable. Right return has straight joint to later
C19 build which has a ground-floor rectangular bay window with
twin 6/6 sashes; single 6/6 sashes to each floor beneath
cambered brick arches. Left return and rear have 6/6 sashes
and inserted C20 sashes with glazing bars, C19 canted
ground-floor bay window.
INTERIOR: open-well staircase with alternating plain and
slender column balusters.
