Verandah attached to row of shops. Dated 1883 over the ninth
bay. Cast-iron and glass. 9 wide bays. Foliated columns with
Greek-key enrichment to the bases, crocket caps, pierced
brackets, plain fascia beams with cresting, an elaborately
scrolled crest between the seventh and eighth bays, and a
curved glass roof. Mounted on a short rail over the ninth bay
is another scrolled crest incoporating the date: 1883, with a
tall finial.
Forms group with No.387 adjoining to the left (qv) and with
Nos 423-431 adjoining to the right (qv); and is part of the
series of verandahs which characterizes this street.
