Pair of houses. Probably earlier C19; altered. Roughcast
render on brick, roof of large old slates (No.12 with
earthenware ridge tiles). Single-depth plan, 2 plus 2 units,
each house double-fronted.
EXTERIOR: one very low storey (approx. 2m), 2 plus 2 windows;
No.12 to the right has a C20 glazed porch to glazed door,
No.14 has a C20 glazed door, and each has 2 3-light casement
windows. Central ridge stack and gable chimneys at both ends.
Small lean-to extension attached to gable wall of No.12 to the
right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
An interesting isolated example of a type of dwelling
characteristic of this area before the development of
Southport in the C19.
