Detached house. c1858. Stucco with knapped flint, roof being
replaced at time of inspection.
2 storeys over basement, 4-window range. A bay of one-window
range is set back on the left, giving a double-fronted
appearance to the rest; the flint is framed into panels by
storey bands and quoins of stucco, except that the ground
floor at the south-east end is entirely stuccoed. Round-arched
prostyle porch; flat-arched entrance with sidelights and
overlight; all windows flat-arched, those on the ground floor
with eared architraves and entablature, the entablature linked
to a broad storey band; first-floor windows with eared
architraves linked to entablature at bracketed eaves; sashes
of original design to all but western windows; hipped roof;
end- and ridge-stacks to west wing.
