War memorial. Inaugurated 17th October 1920, restored 1999. Ashlar. Tall octagonal drum base with moulded cornice and foot moulding, set on an octagonal plinth cut with a shallow Gothic inscription. On the drum a base carries an octagonal broached shaft and carved head of traditional form, with aedicules on 4 faces with the Crucifixion, St Paul, St Peter and the Madonna. Applied panels on the drum list the names of victims of the Great and subsequent wars. The upper section of the drum, and the surrounding low stone wall and iron railings, are new.
