Railings. c1820, extended at south end c. 1840. Wrought iron railings, with cast finials on red brick plinth with stone coping.
Low plinth terminating to the north-east in a red brick pier with pyramid stone cap. Circular stiles supported by twin and single scrolled braces and terminating in fleur-de-lys finials. Circular section verticals rising through plain bottom, middle and top rails to terminate in ball and steeple finials. Slighter section lower verticals from bottom to middle rail, without finials. Top rails ramp up to meet the stiles. Later southern section of railings to Cedar House with stiles consisting of 2 half-round sections meeting to form a circle; plinth rises to accommodate drop in ground level. Railings at this end cut back to meet south wall of Cedar House.
Northern section of railings with double-leaf gates between plain square stiles ending in fleur-de-lys finials. Gates of similar construction to railings, but with opposing scrolled overthrows.
Railings have group value with those to Manuden House.
