Terraced house, or houses, and shops. Early or mid-C19.
Cobbles, painted black, with dressings of painted brick and
stucco; roof of slate where visible.
2 storeys, 5-window range. Ground floor now a mixture of C19
and C20 shop-front treatments. Flat-arched entrance to east
end with overlight, flanked by pilasters and under a dentil
cornice, the entablature extending over a flat-arched window
to the right; to left of this entrance one segmental-arched
entrance with overlight, and a taller segmental-arched loading
bay; the west end has 2 flat-arched entrances and 3
flat-arched windows all flanked by pilasters under a fascia;
first-floor windows segmental-arched with brick dressings;
blank panels either side of easternmost window; second window
from east has sashes of original design; parapet; principal
roof pitched and does not extend to the east end.
