Terraced cottages. C18. Flint with brick dressings, stucco,
roof of tiles.
2 storeys, No.45, 4 windows, Nos 45A and 47 one window each.
No 45 has a stuccoed wing facing south-east, a canted wing of
flint-and- brick facing north-east; flat-arched entrance,
scattered fenestration, most windows flat-arched with renewed
glazing, 2 small segmental-arched windows in Old London Road;
brick bands in flintwork; Nos 45A and 47 have flat-arched
entrances and flat-arched windows, the entrance of No.47 under
a segmental arch; stack to ridge between Nos 45 and 45A.
INTERIOR: No.45A has an early C17 lobby entrance to what may
have been a late medieval open hall; the ceiling to the ground
floor room is possibly of early C17 date.
