Terraced house. Early C19. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
3 storeys over basement, 3-window range. The street front
consists of a full-height and almost full-width segmental bay.
Rusticated ground floor; enclosed porch, the antae having
stepped capitals and plain entablature, overlight, and studded
and panelled door of original design, the upper panels now
glazed; all windows flat-arched, those to the first floor
having moulded architraves, palmettes to the frieze, cornices,
blind boxes and individual balconies with cast-iron railings;
second-floor windows have architraves; 4/4 sashes to first
floor and 2/4 sashes to second floor, possibly of original
design; cornice and blocking course; one flat-arched entrance
and 2 flat-arched windows to return in Southover Street.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron railings with intermediate
shafts, console brackets and spearhead finials.
