Terrace of 4 town houses. Early C19. Mass wall construction, painted & stuccoed. Nos. 65 and 66 are also blocked out. Roof behind parapet, covering not visible. Red brick axial chimneystacks. Some round, tapering terracotta chimneypots remain; cast iron rainwater goods.
Plan: Deep rectangular plan. No.65 also has service block at rear.
Exterior: 3 storeys plus attics and basements. Asymmetrical. Nos.65 and 66 each have a one-bay front, Nos.67 and 68 have 2-bay fronts. Cornice below parapet. Entrance to No.65 is on left return. Large console brackets and cornice over a 4-panel door; rectangular overlight. Bootscraper iron in recess to right. Above door at first floor is a 12-pane hornless sash window. The second floor window is blind. A 2-light small pane casement window in the gable at attic level. Rounded corner to Magdalen Street. The Magdalen Street elevation of No.65 has a horned sash window at ground floor level. Boxed 12-pane hornless sash window at first floor level and at second floor level; iron trellis balconies at first and second floor windows. No.66 has a C20 half-glazed door to the right with a deep rectangular overlight. To the left is a hornless sash window. At first floor level is a 12-pane hornless sash window. Horned sash window at second floor level. The front of No.67 is slightly recessed from that of its neighbours. 6-panel door to the left with an approximately square and very large overlight. 12-pane hornless sash windows throughout with architraves. No.68 has a 6-panel door with a deep rectangular overlight to the left side of the front elevation. Horned sash windows throughout. Architraves to second floor windows. Grilles in pavements to light basement windows.
