House, now flats. c1818-1828 with later alterations.
Pinkish-brown brick in stretcher bond with painted stucco
front facade and Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 6 first-floor windows, to right a full-height
canted bay. Plinth. Central entrance: 5 roll-edged steps to
6-fielded-panel door, overlight with glazing bars in deep
plain reveals. Pilastered doorcase, corbels support hood. 6/6
sashes throughout, taller to ground floor, narrower to sides
of canted bay, all with sills and plain reveals. First-floor
band. Wide eaves. Hipped roof, rear and end stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Brunswick Street marked out by 1818 and built
along by 1828.
