Villa. c1834-1838, with later additions and alterations.
Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco front facade and
concealed roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First floor: band
surmounted by 4 Tuscan pilasters, to ends and between windows;
6/6 sashes with plain reveals and moulded surrounds. Double
frieze, cornice, blocking course.
Ground floor: plinth, horizontal rustication.
Central entrance: 4 steps, 3 are roll-edged to 4-panel door
between pilaster strips and margin-lights with glazing-bars,
under fanlight with glazing-bars, within distyle Tuscan porch
with engaged pilasters and entablature with blocking course.
To either side are canted bays, each with three 1/1 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Leam Terrace was laid out c1828-1836, both
sides to Willes Road were almost completely built by 1841.
Nos 54-66 (even) (qv) with No.2 Farley Street (qv) form an
architectural group of villas.
