Terraced houses. c1835. Stucco, roofs of C20 tiles so far as
visible. 2 storeys, one window each. Ground floor rusticated
up to a moulded storey band. Flat-arched entrance with
overlight and minimal doorcase. One flat-arched window to each
floor, the upper floors having an Ionic pilaster between each
house, supporting cornice and blocking course. Stacks to party
walls, many now altered. Cast-iron railings to area.
Features of individual houses are: No.42 has sashes of
original design to both floors; No.44 has quadrant corners to
windows; No.50 has a panelled door of original design and
sashes of original design.
